[Okay, well, that's nothing that no amount of experience or horror stories could have prepared her for. Jasmine flinches back away from her slightly, though she tries to keep her reaction subdued. For Rose's sake, even if she wouldn't say it.]
Shit, [she breathes. She drops to her knees next to her, reaching out without permission to try and pull Rose's hand away from her face and get a better look. Proper protocol for handling this sort of thing has gone completely out the window.]
[She lets Jasmine pull her hand away, too drained to fight for once. It's why she can't be too upset at her younger sister's initial reaction. Given her own reaction to when she saw what happened to herself, she's almost surprised Jasmine keeps it to just flinching.]
No. That'd make more sense if I was. [Not that getting stabbed with a flower makes any kind of sense at all, but she'd take it over what actually happened.] It was just—there, suddenly. Sprouting.
[Unconcerned with the blood spilling onto her fingers, she tries to wipe away some of the gore around the wound, then uses her sleeve when that doesn't seem to be enough.
It's nauseating, and Jasmine has to turn away for a minute just to keep her stomach where it belongs. She knows it'll be easier the less agitation she shows, but she wants to scream.]
Do you feel lightheaded? How much blood have you lost? [Then, after a pause:] What can I do?
[It comes out so tired. She realizes she's probably light-headed at least, but she has no idea how much blood she's lost, and she has no idea what Jasmine could do. Hell, she doesn't even know what she should do about this. It's not hard to tell how close Jasmine is to just screaming, and she can't even blame her. There was a small part of her that was surprised that Jasmine even came for her. That was already a lot.
She doesn't want to make this any worse for her than it has to be.]
You got any painkillers, maybe? [Not that it'll fix anything, but fuck if this doesn't hurt still. It's the only idea she has right now.]
